Blazey
About
'Blazey was a short 2D animated film pitch I created in early 2024 to contribute to the final Graduate films for Griffith University in 2024. Unfortunately the film didn't get picked up to continue work on it, however there are some concepts that could help lead it to become a short film or even flesh out into a comic series.
Brief Synopsis
In a small fantasy land, a young werewolf girl (Elena) attends a creature shop class where they learn about the mystical creatures of their world and how to live with them peacefully. One day, a class assignment is announced. Take home a baby dragon egg and nurture it until its time to join the wild. The only problem is that she has too many commitments in her life! Balancing all her overworking habits, her life feeling non-existent, even a crush on the boy next to her and now a baby dragon, which may help her form a connection she never knew she needed.
